Applications are invited for three (3) postdoctoral positions from candidates with relevant experience to carry out research work in the field of spintronics at IIT Gandhinagar.
Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on spintronics research. Prior experience in the numerical simulation and/or electrical characterisation of magnetic devices is preferable. Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting their defence are also eligible to apply. The candidate should have a good academic record throughout, and the percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent in Graduation and above and 55% or equivalent grades in 10th and 12th.
Job Description: The candidate will explore the dynamics of various spintronic systems. (Magnetic Tunnel Junctions, skyrmion-based devices) for application in Al (reservoir computing. Deep Neural Networks, etc).
