The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in collaboration with MyGov, is organising “Beat the Heat: National Heatwave Awareness Quiz 2025”. This initiative aims to raise public awareness about heatwave preparedness and safety. The quiz encourages citizens to learn about the risks associated with extreme heat and adopt essential protective measures. Participate and contribute to building a heat-resilient India.

Terms and Conditions
- 1. The quiz is being organised by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) with the MyGov platform. / इस क्विज़ का आयोजन राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (एनडीएमए) द्वारा MyGovप्लेटफॉर्म के साथ किया जा रहा है।
- 2. Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens. / क्विज़ में प्रवेश सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुला है।
- 3. The Quiz is available both in English and Hindi language. A participant may choose either of the languages. / यह क्विज़ अंग्रेजी और हिंदी दोनों भाषाओं में उपलब्ध है। प्रतिभागी इनमें से कोई भी भाषा चुन सकते हैं।
- 4. The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Start Quiz’ button. / जैसे ही प्रतिभागी ‘क्विज़ प्रारंभ करें’ बटन पर क्लिक करेगा, क्विज़ प्रारंभ हो जाएगी।
- 5. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn. / एक बार प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियाँ वापस नहीं ली जा सकतीं।
- 6. Questions contained within the quiz will be based on various aspects of Heatwave, including causes, impacts, and safety measures. A participant will get 10 (ten) minutes to answer 20 questions. / प्रश्नोत्तरी में बाढ़ के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर आधारित प्रश्न होंगे, जिनमें कारण, प्रभाव और सुरक्षा उपाय शामिल होंगे। प्रतिभागी को 20 प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने के लिए 10 (दस) मिनट का समय मिलेगा।
- 7. Participants can only enter the quiz competition once. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted and considered. / प्रतिभागी केवल एक बार ही क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता में भाग ले सकते हैं। एक ही प्रतिभागी की एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएँगी और उन पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
- 8. By participating in the Quiz, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates. / क्विज़ में भाग लेते ही प्रतिभागी इसके सभी नियम व शर्तों, साथ ही किसी भी संशोधन या अपडेट को स्वीकार करने के लिए बाध्य होंगे।
- 9. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same. / आयोजक उन प्रविष्टियों के लिए उत्तरदायी नहीं होंगे जो तकनीकी त्रुटियों के कारण विलंबित, अधूरी, खोई हुई या गलत तरीके से प्रेषित हुई हैं। प्रविष्टि जमा करने का प्रमाण उसकी प्राप्ति का प्रमाण नहीं माना जाएगा।
- 10. The decision of the NDMA and MyGov on the Quiz shall be final, and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / क्विज़ पर एनडीएमए और MyGov का निर्णय अंतिम और बाध्यकारी होगा तथा इस संबंध में कोई पत्राचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
- 11. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions. / क्विज़ में भाग लेने पर, प्रतिभागी उपर्युक्त नियमों और शर्तों से बाध्य होने के लिए अपनी सहमति प्रदान कर देता है।
- 12. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves. / सभी विवादों / कानूनी शिकायतों का अधिकार क्षेत्र केवल दिल्ली होगा। इस उद्देश्य के लिए होने वाले खर्चों की जिम्मेदारी संबंधित पक्षों की स्वयं की होगी।
- 13. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system. / इन नियमों और शर्तों का संचालन भारतीय कानूनों के अंतर्गत होगा और भारतीय न्यायपालिका के निर्णय ही मान्य होंगे।
