This scholarship supports their education from Class 9 to Class 12 in the best-performing schools, covering tuition, hostel, and other necessary fees Up to Rs.1,25,000 Per Year.

Details of the Scholarship

• Title: PM YASASVI Scholarship- Top Class Education in Schools Scheme
• Type: Central Sector Scholarship for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students (Merit-based)

Scholarship Amount:

• Class 9 & 10: Per annum Up to Rs.75,000 per student
• Class 11 & 12: Per annum Up to Rs.1,25,000 per student

Eligibility:

Students belonging to OBC, EBC, or DNT categories, studying in “Top Class Schools” identified under the scheme, with a family annual income less than Rs.2.5 lakh, are eligible. Selection is purely merit-based, determined by marks obtained in the final examination of the previous class.

Age:

• Covers students from Class 9 to Class 12 (approx. 13-18 years).
• Required Information: Proof of category, family annual income, Marks sheet of previous class, Aadhaar number, Bank account details of the student, School verification through Nodal Officer.

Application Process

Eligible students must apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), submitting all required details and documents. The school’s Nodal Officer verifies applications, followed by online confirmation from the State Government. State-wise merit lists are prepared, and scholarships are allocated automatically based on merit.
