We are inviting postgraduate students or those pursuing a master's degree to apply for internship positions in our prestigious ICSSR-funded research project. This project focuses on studying the intergenerational transmission of indigenous occupational skills in Western Rajasthan and aims to provide valuable insights into cultural sustainability and socio-economic mobility in the region.
- Open Position: Research Assistant/Field Investigator
- Duration: 3 to 9 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
- Remuneration: Competitive and as per ICSSR norms. Campus accommodation can be provided on payment basis.
Qualifications:
- Research Assistant:- Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline (minimum 55% marks) and NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. qualification
- Field Investigator: Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55% marks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fieldwork and data collection in Western Rajasthan, including interviews, surveys, and focus group discussions.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data using relevant software tools (STATA).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and contribute to publications and policy briefs.
- Report writing
