Concept Note:

In the contemporary academic landscape, the study of literature and language is undergoing a significant transformation, with emerging trends challenging traditional perspectives and redefining the very notion of what constitutes a text. This National Seminar on Critical Explorations in Language, Literature, and Theory: Contemporary Perspectives and Critical Discourse aims to explore these shifts and the multifaceted ways in which language and literature intersect with other disciplines, cultures, and ideologies. By engaging with these evolving paradigms, scholars are reimagining the boundaries of literary expression, offering new avenues for storytelling and interpretation that resonate with contemporary experiences.

As language evolves in our increasingly globalized and digitalized world, so too does its role in literature. The blending of languages, the rise of digital communication, and the impact of cultural exchange are expanding the possibilities for linguistic creativity and challenging conventional ideas of what defines a text. This seminar will delve into how these developments are reshaping the terrain of literature, allowing for richer cross-cultural dialogues and more dynamic expressions of identity and meaning.

Theoretical frameworks in literary studies are also being redefined by interdisciplinary approaches that draw from various fields, opening new pathways for analysis and interpretation. This seminar seeks to bring together scholars, researchers, and academicians from around the world to engage in meaningful dialogue, share innovative research, and critically examine the evolving landscapes of language, literature, and theory. By fostering these exchanges, the event will contribute to the ongoing reimagining of these fields, offering fresh insights and shaping future directions in the study of literature and its ever-expanding intersections with other domains.
