The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2025 to fill following posts in various Central Government departments.

- Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
- Junior Engineer (Electrical)
- Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
Eligibility: Candidates must have a Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile or related Engineering disciplines from a recognized institute/university. For some departments like BRO and MES, two years of relevant work experience is also mandatory in addition to the diploma.
Age Limit: Up to 30 years for most posts, Up to 32 years for CPWD & CWC posts
(Age relaxation applicable as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM, etc.)
Salary: Rs 35,400- Rs.1,12,400.
Selection Procedure:
- Paper-I (CBT) - General Intelligence, General Awareness, General Engineering
- Paper-II (CBT)- Specific Engineering Subject
- Document Verification
- Physical Standards (for BRO posts)
Application fee: Rs.100 (Exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Female/ESM).
